No. Every loan Ultimate Finance issues is unsecured. Many Microfinance companies require security even for small loans; we do not.

About the USSD service

No. Every Ultimate Finance loan is unsecured: no guarantor, no collateral, no asset of any kind. The loan is assessed on your salary.

A work ID card, your National ID, your latest monthly pay slips for the last two months, and bank statements for the last two months. If you work outside government, also bring a copy of your employment contract.

Disbursement happens immediately after your credit check is approved. If everything is in order you can come in, complete your application, and leave with cash in hand or with a bank transfer on its way.

Salary Advance loans are for 1 month. Check Me Back loans can run for up to seven months, with monthly repayments. The exact term is agreed when you apply.

Yes, and there is no settlement penalty for doing so.

Yes. You can request your loan statement at any time and we will provide it.

Yes, if your documents are in order. Applications are assessed at the branch while you wait, and approved loans are paid out immediately – as cash or a bank transfer. Bring your National ID, work ID, two pay slips and two bank statements.

Yes. Ultimate Finance is regulated by the Bank of Tanzania as a second-tier, non-deposit-taking microfinance institution. It was registered with the Registrar of Companies on 10 September 2013 and has been lending since November 2013.
